Foo Fighters 11th November 1995 Glasgow
Barrowlands - By Ross Harkness
Well this was my very first Barrowlands
Gig and what a gig too.
The Support Bands were "Gin
Goblins" who a Former Nirvana Roadie "Big John Duncan" was part
of their outfit....They were kinda weird looking bunch of guys, ok though. Next
Up Was "Build To Spill"....They were setting up their own stuff, I
first thought they were the roadies for the band until they started to get on
with there set....they were a mellow rock.
Next up the MAIN EVENT - FOO FIGHTERS
I get my small Body to the front row of
the Barrowlands "slightly to the right looking on to the stage". Well
I'm a Huge Nirvana fan so that really how i got into them i wanted to see what
they were like, besides "This is a Call" kicks ass....The Foos stroll
Out Dave's Long Hair...i was well excited.. man 2 former band members
of NIRVANA. A Great Night
that will always stick in my head.
The Foos Stroll on stage looking Great,
Pat does little wave to crowd and
Dave does little chit chat with crowd. he
seems very happy.

Foo Fighters - 24th May 1997 Barrowlands
Gig Review - by Ross Harkness
Well there was supposed to be 4 of us
going to gig but there was a big argument etc so 2 of them didn't go, I went
with 2 spare tickets and didn't see any takers so i still have the 2 unused tickets, that
some foo fans could of got.
I Drove me and my mate up the M8 to Glasgow...always
remember the other side of the motorway was busy as ever Kilmarnock had just won
the Scottish Cup so the traffic on other side was very busy.
Anyway we get to Barras....None of us
are really bothered about "Red Kross" support band though we still
heard them....now on with the Show....i get to Front Row middle again. The Foos
have started to Mature in to a Great Rock Band.
